Job: UX/UI Designer for Fintech Startup
Our client is a rapidly-growing fintech startup in the LATAM region, committed to revolutionizing the financial landscape through innovative digital solutions. They are passionate about crafting user-centric platforms that empower and simplify the lives of our users.
Responsibilities:
User-Centered Design: Develop intuitive, user-friendly interfaces by understanding their customers’ needs, conducting user research, and translating findings into seamless user journeys.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketers, to ensure the delivery of high-quality user interfaces and experiences.
Prototyping & Wireframing: Design interactive mockups and prototypes to convey ideas and gather feedback. Use tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
Visual Design: Craft compelling visual designs, ensuring consistency in graphics, icons, and the overall look and feel across our digital platforms.
Feedback Iteration: Analyze user feedback, A/B testing results, and user analytics to continuously refine and optimize the design.
Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest UX/UI trends, techniques, and technologies, especially within the fintech space in LATAM.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably within the fintech sector.
- Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design thinking and execution.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and others.
- Fluent in Spanish; proficiency in English is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to articulate design decisions.
- Familiarity with LATAM fintech regulations and cultural nuances is a plus.
