Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Shopify Developer to join our dynamic team. Our ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about leveraging Shopify to create seamless, innovative, and high-performing eCommerce solutions. You’ll be playing a crucial role in developing and enhancing our online storefront, ensuring a superior shopping experience for our users.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and optimize our Shopify site to deliver a seamless user experience, focusing on mobile and desktop platforms.
Implement custom Shopify themes and modify pre-existing templates based on specified requirements.
Develop and integrate custom apps or Shopify apps to enhance the website’s functionality and user engagement.
Ensure seamless and scalable integration of our custom subscription service into the Shopify platform, maintaining the integrity of the existing member frontend.
Utilize Shopify’s admin API for website management tasks, product management, and custom report generation.
Collaborate closely with the design and marketing teams to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and implement them.
Stay updated with Shopify’s latest features and updates, including the exploration and implementation of Shopify’s Hydrogen and Oxygen for headless commerce solutions.
Work on a phased migration approach to Shopify, ensuring minimal disruption to the business and leveraging headless solutions for improved performance and customization.
Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to identify and fix bugs prior to deployment.
Provide technical guidance and recommendations for best practices in Shopify development and migration strategies.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Shopify Developer with a strong portfolio of Shopify projects.
Expertise in Shopify theme development and customization, Shopify API, Liquid, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Experience with headless commerce implementations using Shopify Hydrogen and Oxygen is highly desirable.
Familiarity with custom app development for Shopify and integration of third-party apps.
Strong understanding of responsive design principles and best practices for mobile and desktop platforms.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with a creative and analytical approach to overcoming challenges.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with effective communication and collaboration skills.
Passionate about staying ahead of the curve with the latest web technologies and eCommerce trends.
