Our client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to lead their innovative team. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in cloud technologies, scripting languages, coding skills, monitoring tools, and CI/CD practices. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in architecting and optimizing our development processes, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems.

Responsibilities:

Lead the design, implementation, and management of cloud infrastructure using Azure, AWS, and Terraform.
Develop and maintain advanced automation scripts in Python, Ruby, and Bash for streamlined operational processes.
Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate coding best practices into the CI/CD pipeline, focusing on JavaScript (JS) and NextJS applications.
Architect and implement robust monitoring solutions, leveraging tools such as CloudWatch and Datadog, to ensure optimal system performance.
Lead and optimize CI/CD processes using Amplify Builds and GitHub workflows
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications:

Extensive proficiency in cloud technologies, with demonstrated expertise in Azure, AWS, and Terraform.
Strong scripting skills in Python, Ruby, and Bash
Advanced coding skills, particularly in JavaScript (JS) and NextJS
Proven experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch and Datadog
In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with CI/CD processes, utilizing tools like Amplify Builds and GitHub workflows.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of experience in a DevOps role, with a focus on senior-level responsibilities
Demonstrated leadership experience in guiding and mentoring junior team members
Expertise in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), scripting languages (Python, Ruby, Bash), and CI/CD tools (Amplify Builds, GitHub workflows).

Additional Skills (Nice to Have):

Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Understanding of serverless architecture
Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles
