About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled Backend Developer to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in back-end technologies, with a focus on databases, server-side programming, and cloud services. As a Backend Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining the back-end infrastructure of their applications.

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain back-end systems using NextJS and Prisma
Develop and optimize database structures using Postgres, ensuring efficient and scalable data storage.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate front-end components with the back-end services
Work with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure to deploy and manage back-end services
Utilize Linux command-line interface (CLI) for server management and administration
Perform code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and ensure code quality and best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide technical expertise.

Qualifications:

Strong proficiency in back-end development using NextJS and Prisma
Experience with Postgres for database design and optimization
Familiarity with cloud services, particularly AWS or Azure
Comfortable working in a Linux environment and using the command-line interface (CLI)
Solid understanding of server-side programming concepts
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Education and Experience:

3+ years of experience in back-end development
Experience working on projects with NextJS, Prisma, Postgres, and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field would be desirable

Additional Skills (Nice to Have):

Knowledge of serverless architecture and microservices
Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker
Understanding of RESTful API design principles
